If you were a flavor of GU, which would you be?
Roctane, any flavor, because I have a little extra fire inside.
Where do you store your GU when training?
Nothing too creative, just in my jog bra.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what flavor of GU would you want with you?
Vanilla please.
Do you do anything superstitious on raceday?
I wear new shoes and a new race uniform for every major competition.
What’s your funniest racing or training story?
I woke up in a hospital after crashing my bike in a race and heard the doctor say, “What do you mean she crashed her bike, she’s wearing a swim suit?”
Average training schedule?
Swim, bike and run A LOT. Throw in some weight lifting and walking my dogs and that’s about it.
Ultimate goals?
I have already achieved so much, anything more is a HUGE bonus.
Weakness?
White chocolate.
Favorite book?
I love Harry Potter.
Pets?
Three Miniature Pinschers – Moscoka, Manchester and Tinkerbell; two horses – Ruby and Kona.
What personal causes are you involved in?
The Athletes for a Cure which is an arm of the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
Three things people don’t know about you?
I have a twin sister. I like fast cars. I ride horses in the off-season.
